Restaurant & Retail Stabilization Grant
The Restaurant & Retail Stabilization Grant is a $3.875 million fund overseen by the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development and administered by Capital Impact Partners. The program aims to provide financial relief to brick-and-mortar establishments that experienced revenue losses in 2025, with priority for those that had a drop of 10% or more. “With these grants we are sending a message to local businesses that we understand how important they are to our city and to our residents, we understand the struggles they have faced over the past year, and we have their back,” Bowser said in a statement. Grants are available for up to $50,000 and will be paired with technical assistance to help awardees enhance their operational sustainability and resilience. To be eligible, businesses must generate between $100,000 and $5 million in annual gross revenue, and they must be independently owned and operated with no more than three locations. The application deadline is June 5.
