Restaurant owners!

DDOT will end its pandemic-era temporary sidewalk café permits on May 31, 2023. Permittees need to obtain a Sidewalk Café permit by June 1st to continue operating outdoor dining in public space on the sidewalk.

If your business has a temporary permit and needs a permanent permit, you must go to tops.ddot.dc.gov and click “Apply for Public Space Rental/Annual Permits.”
